The Department of Education awarded Greenville Technical College (GTC) with a Title III grant in the fall of 2020. The grant is being utilized to implement the Student Transformation Center (STC) Project, which includes administering professional development for faculty and staff focused on culture of care and implementing the 360 Institute cohort for first time with college students. PRE has partnered with GTC to conduct student and faculty/staff focus groups, administer student and faculty surveys, and analyze student outcome data to determine the grant’s impact on student retention and completion. This project is in its fourth year of completion and findings from the evaluation have been used to continuously make data-driven improvements to the program. GTC was given the Most Promising Program award for their 360 Institute program by the National Organization for Student Success.
