Senior Research Associate
Taline A. Kuyumjian, M.A. is a Senior Research Associate at PRE. Ms. Kuyumjian has over a dozen years’ experience working in informal learning environments and nonprofits, with a majority of those years focused on leading mixed methods research and evaluation studies. She specializes in benchmarking studies, awareness studies, impact and assessment studies, developing theories of action, and activating information to guide strategic planning. Prior to joining PRE as a Research Associate, Ms. Kuyumjian served as principal and founder of her own consultancy. Notable expertise she brings include studies assessing the impact of museum visits on school readiness for children under age 5, how museums can better partner with their surrounding communities, and ways to narrow the gender gap in STEM careers through programming, built environments, and virtual engagement platforms. Central to her practice is utilizing a lens of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. Presently, Ms. Kuyumjian serves as an At Large Board Member with the Visitor Studies Association. She has a M.A. in Museology, a graduate level certificate in Audience Research, and a graduate level certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington in Seattle. Her undergraduate degree is from Saint Mary’s College of California and is in Business Administration.
