Serena Chapman, M.A.

Serena Chapman (she/her), M.A., serves as a level 1 Research Associate at Pacific Research and Evaluation (PRE). Ms. Chapman received her Master of Arts degree in Evaluation and Positive Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University and has over half a decade of experience evaluating and coordinating programs in the education, health, and non-profit sectors. Ms. Chapman is a skilled qualitative and quantitative researcher with a strong foundation in evaluation theory, design, and practice having led and supported the evaluation efforts of a wide variety of programs in higher education, mental health, youth development, and more. Prior to joining PRE in 2022, Ms. Chapman worked as an evaluator and researcher primarily serving after-school programs for underserved youth, public-school districts, and postsecondary institutions of higher education. Additionally, she worked in program development and administration for the University of Washington and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. At PRE, she is evaluating the Portland Public Schools Summer Programs, Grand Rapids Community College Title III grant, Greenville Technical College Title III grant, and El Paso Community College Title V grant. Ms. Chapman is skilled in all areas of evaluation but is especially passionate about bringing information to life through data visualization and information design as well as conducting mixed-methods research to gather insightful data to tell stories, lift voices, and affect positive change.
